God is revealing to me that it’s not just about overcoming HS. There’s so much more to it. This journey to overcoming HS just scratches the surface of what God is doing in me. This journey and experience is just a piece of it. This is a journey of spiritual disciplines, submission, obedience, restoration, faith, walking in God’s truth, and so much more. I am so grateful that God is doing a work in me. I feel that on this journey I will have to be vulnerable yet bold and completely yielded to the power and workings of the Holy Spirit.
“But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts].” – Galatians 5:16 AMP
Dear Jesus, sit on the throne of my heart. Rule with Your glorious authority every area of my life. Help me to live completely surrendered to You, walking habitually in Your Holy Spirit. Help me to be responsive to your guidance that I may not give in to my flesh. Lead me to victory in You, Jesus. Amen.
